Dr.
Drooker is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry
at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he has been
a faculty member for over twelve years. Dr. Drooker
completed his psychiatry residency and fellowship training
at Yale University School of Medicine.

Board Certification
Dr. Drooker is certified in General Psychiatry,
Addiction Psychiatry, and Pain Management by the American
Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of
the American Psychiatric Association.
Bariatric Psychiatry
Experience
Over the past five years, Dr. Drooker has evaluated
over two thousand individuals considering bariatric
surgery. He is an expert in managing the emotional aspects
of obesity and weight reduction surgery. Dr. Drooker
is skilled in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology
techniques, gearing clinical treatment to the individual
needs of each patient. He lectures frequently on a range
of behavioral health topics, including depression, anxiety,
pain management, and addiction.
